Johnny Depp has admitted to “by chance” headbutting Amber Heard whereas she was “flailing and punching” him at their Los Angeles penthouse.
On the third day of the Hollywood star’s libel case towards The Solar on Thursday, Mr Depp stated he had a “collision” with Ms Heard, 34, as he tried to “pay money for her” as she allegedly attacked him on December 15, 2015.
The 57-year-old actor is suing the tabloid’s writer Information Group Newspapers (NGN), and its government editor Dan Wootton, over an April 2018 article which labelled him a “spouse beater”.
